I've taken many paths to arrive at where I am today - painting, painting, and more painting!   Even though I always loved drawing and art, I didn't take the serious artistic path, until after my husband retired and we moved to Florida.  I immediately joined the Art League of Marco Island, where I currently serve on the Board of Directors.  This became my "home" away from home.  I soon began exhibiting locally, at both indoor and outdoor shows.

As a self-taught artist, I experimented with many mediums, but always returned to oils.  I am active with the Marco Outdoor Artists, and teach beginning oil painting at the Art League Marco Island's Center for the Arts.  During my journey, I have created 2 gators for the Naples von Liebig's Art Assoc. Gators Galore event (Cirque du Gator and Gator Crossing); a submarine dolphin (Run Silent, Run Deep) for the Art League's  Dolphin Debut;  created 2 cartoon maps of Marco Island, for the Marco Sun Times; was selcected for and exhibited at the Naples Designer Show House; participated in the Marco Wet Paint Live for the Marco Chamber of Comm. and Third on Canvas, a wet paint event for the Naples Art Assoc;  was one of the artists on the 2008 Studio Tour sponsored by the Art League of Marco Island; and recently won the poster competition for the  30th Naples National Art Festival .

And, always in my studio, or on location, painting, painting, painting!
